what does it feel like?

when you feel your baby move for the first time? I'm thinking that I might be feeling the baby move when I'm lying down at night, but I'm not sure. It feels like there are bubbles in my belly. Anyone else?

That's what it first felt like for me...I'd liken it to gas bubbles. After a while you can clearly distinguish between what's gas and what's baby moving.

I hate to say it, but there's really not a good way to explain it.  You're prob feeling the baby though.  I know that I went from, "Is that the baby?" to feeling the baby all the time in just a week or so.

I believe I can notice the baby move now and it feels like a weird muscle spasm, but closer...does that make sense?

I can't wait till DH can feel the baby move! My bday is saturday, it would be awesome if he felt him then.

i probably totally missed the fluttering, spasmic, butterfly bubbles.?

i knew it was the baby when i started feeling almost-sharp pokes. especially after i was being clumsy and bumped into stuff, like a chair or something.?

i told everyone that it's kinda like biting the inside of your cheek after being injected with novocaine. it doesn't hurt, but it really couldn't be anything else. it's weeeeird, hehe.

That could be flutters.  As far as actual movement like kicks and all of that, you just know.  There is no other way to describe it!

I bet you are feeling flutters. It took me two weeks of guessing before I was sure I really felt him.

Well I think I've been feeling baby the past 4-5 days now. Mine has 2 separate sensations.
1. A rolling/waving feeling deep inside, it reminds me of a massage chair with a "kneading" option, it's like a slow rolling ball... this sensation is very subtle

2. A ticklish butterfly sensation but concentrated to one specific area. This sensation is much stronger and kind of goes beep, beep beep, beep beep beep, beep off and on....

For me it's like there are a ton of butterflies flapping their wings all at once.  Trust me...when it actually happens, you will know for sure.  For weeks I analyzed every little feeling in my belly, but once it really happened I knew all those other pains were probably gas and/or RLP.
