Hello! Thanks so much for your advice on clerkships. DH is a summer associate right now (not Biglaw though - a small firm) so we'll know a lot more at the end of the summer... whether he gets an offer at all, and whether they'll be willing/able to forgo a clerkship for him. So I'm just thinking of "worst case scenario" at this point! I do think having a new baby is a compelling reason for him not to do one, but it does depend on whether the firm can add the associate's salary for 2010. We'll see!!
