ok, i never get headaches, but pretty much ever since i started the 2nd tri, ive been getting several migraines a week. today i had to leave work early bc it got so bad. i probably shouldnt be sitting in front of the computer, but i was trying to do research seeing what caused this, and hoping my 2 tylenol extra strength kick in. ive found that tylenol really doesnt help, though.

I have them too, they are killer. My doctor told me today that pregnancy headaches are "snot related," that they are sinus headaches caused by an increase of mucous in your body. She told me to take claritin or tylenol sinus and that will help a lot more than just tylenol alone. I hope so, I guess we'll see!
I get debilitating migraines several times a week. I have an appt with a neuro coming up.
Until then, my doctors have me on a regular daily dose of Fioricet- it's tylenol w/ caffeine and something else. It helps me function.
I feel your pain! It sucks, because Excedrine is all that helps with my headaches and Tylenol is NOT cutting it. I had one all day yesterday and most of the day today and finally it's going away. But I have two photo shoots to process, which means a lot of computer work, and I'm dreading it. Yuck.
Heat compresses laid on my head and eyes seems to help a lot, but only while the compress is hot and while I have it on. It's temporary, but at least you might get a bit of relief!
I see a migraine specialist at a headache clinic, and both he and my OB said to try 1000mg of Tylenol first, and if that doesn't work, then 1 or 2 Tylenol-3s (vicodin). I worried about the codeine in the vicodin, but they both said that it's much safer than many of the migraine drugs out there for the baby.
