Completely disappointing shopping experience

I finally decided to buy some maternity clothes. Yay! First I drove to the mall to go to Motherhood, because I wanted to try on jeans rather than order online. Walked all the way through the friggin mall and the store is CLOSED. There was a sign taped to the door that said "Closed for repair." I don't think I've ever seen that happen to one store when the rest of the mall is open. Weird.

So I came home and spent an hour at OldNavy.com filling my online cart with all kinds of great sale stuff. Went to check out and EVERY SINGLE ITEM except one damn shirt disappeared from my cart. Apparently they were actually sold out, but it still looks like they have them on the sale page. I GIVE UP!!! Crying

    Wow! Talk about bad luck!

    You can try going to Target, also I got some really inexpensive maternity stuff at Ross.

    That sucks!  I hate how Old Navy does that, it's happened to me many times before.  They are not very quick about updating their websites so that sold-out inventory doesn't appear to be available.

    Ha ha, I didn't even mention that fact that I did also stop at Ross. Apparently our local store doesn't carry maternity Sad

    I'm sorry about your bad luck shopping today!  I had great success this past weekend at Ross and at Play it Again Baby.  Bealls Outlet also has some stuff sometimes.  Good luck!  Maybe your second try will go great.

    I can completely relate.  I went into Motherhood and tried on every single pair of capris in the store and left with nothing.  Same experience at Old Navy and Kohls.   Thankfully I stopped at the juniors section at Kohls on my way out and found three pairs that were adorable, cheap and comfy!

    Nope, I'm in Durham. It was at Crabtree Valley mall.
