I am trying to eat healthy, laying off all of the "don'ts" but in general my eating habits have changed the most about not restricting myself.
We never had chips in the house before...now we do. I eat a few a day and try not to eat the whole bag. I also find myself wanting fruit all the time. I have canned fruit and "real" fruit around.
I eat what I want when I want...with in moderation.
You? ?
Re: Have you changed your eating habits?
Ditto. I was super careful about what I ate for the most part before. I'd have a "cheat" day once a week, but otherwise tried to eat very healthy. Now I tend to let myself give in a lot more, oh well. I'll probably be hating myself in December when I'm trying to run all this extra weight off, but I'm in the healthy weight gain range & my doc says to just enjoy it.
I try to counter-act some of the damage by working out a few times a week still.
When I had morning sickness really bad I ate anything that would stay down. Mainly these were items from the "roni" family - macaroni, pastaroni etc. I never ate that crap before but it stayed down.
Now I am just trying to stay away from "diet" drinks and foods because I am worried about the additives. Other than that - nothing new.
I went nuts for most of 2nd tri, but now that I've packed on a whopping 30 lbs by 24 weeks, I'm trying to scale back to how I ate pre-preg. Fruit, Eggs, Protein...not bagels every day....not cookies every night...
I had a good run though...
I have bought some things that I didn't have in the house before. And all the dang cookies I have around here-I also have potato chips. But, I'm also eating a whole lot more veggies and fruits. I think I basically lived on bread and meat before getting pregnant! I haven't gained that much weight (no flames here, just saying) and the doctor is pleased with my progress, so, I guess I'm ok with what i am eating!
I definitely eat more dessert and clean my plate more often though! But, I'm also not drinking!(wine beer)
