DH's response to birth control options...

At my 36wk appt today (36 weeks?  holy heck!!), my ob mentioned that we should start thinking about birth control options.  DH's response?  "Well, this whole pregnancy thing has been really good birth control" (not as in 'we never have sex' but rather 'it keeps you from ovulating!').

My word.... by the time I wean this kid, I will have been pregnant or breastfeeding (or both!) for about 3 1/2 to 4 years.  I need a break!!  No more babies for now, please DH.

LOL-good thing your doctor is bringing it up to break the ice on the subject, then.  You definitely deserve a break!

i was surprised when my doctor brought it up at my 28 week appointment. dh and i were thinking about trying for 2 under 2 but with how tight money is right now it probably wont happen
