Symptoms of a miscarriage? TMI

Hey ladies... I need some help.  I started bleeding lightly last night...and thought it was just my period.  Well now I have the worst cramps/bleeding I've ever had.  I was about a week and a half late getting my period but they haven't been too normal since giving birth in November.  I never did POAS but I'm thinking I should today when I get off work.  Can someone tell me if this could be a symptom of a miscarriage?  I'm double-overed in pain.  I've taken 3 Advil, and no relief.  Tampons and pads are a must right now but only last about 2 hours (max).  I've never felt like this before.  I'm cramping, but they're not the traditional 'period' cramps... more like a sharp pain.  Please tell me this is normal for AF 7 month after giving birth. Help. TIA

Call your doctor to get checked out. Alot of pain and bleeding could be an ectopic which is nothing to mess around with.

This sounds like my 2nd or 3rd period PP.

With that being said, call the OB.  Self diagnoses is the worst thing when it could be something more serious.  Better safe than sorry.

I have suffered 2 MCs and though these can be symptoms, they also can be like PP said ectopic or just a REALLY bad period. My period is 100 times more heavy than before DS and cramps are worse. Just call your doc and see if they can fit you in...
