pre-wetting cloth wipes

how do you do it? we were using a spray bottle but i've noticed that with poo it then runs down his back and onto the change mat which means i change that every day as well.. not great.

i'm thinking a pre-wet wipe would be good but spraying the wipe seems to be a pain so maybe just putting them in a disposable container and pouring the wipe solution over them?

I make my solution in an old huggies wipe container and then put the wipes in it. It works really well!

I spray the wipe first, haven't had any problems or consider it too big of PITA.?

I get them wet in the sink.  It kind of icks me out to have them sitting wet for a long time.  I am sure sposie wipes have antibacterial/antifungals in them to keep stuff from growing, iykwim.

hmm never thought about that. do you think TTO in the mix would help with that issue?
