Hi everyone, The TTC Prayer Group is a support group utilizing the power of prayer. If you want to join we will assign you a prayer buddy and all you have to do is simply include that person in your prayers. Very simple-yet powerful!!! I am Suzanne, 39 years old, and my DH and I have been trying to have a baby for three years. In 2008, we have undertaken fertility treatments and have had four IUIs, but haven't been successful yet. My DH and I are taking a break from TTC. We will pursue IVF this summer.

I am Jessica; after TTC with PCOS for almost a year DH and I got pregnant with our ?Christmas Miracle?. At 9w4d we went in for an ultrasound and found out we lost our baby. We just started trying again with 7.5mg of Femara.

 For this week, June 15-19^th, Suzanne will post between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Eastern time. For next week, June 22-26^th, Jess will post between 11:30 to 12:30 Central Standard time.

Praise:

KyleneD: Her second appt. went well on Wednesday. They met the other doctor in the practice and they love her too! They heard the heartbeat for the first time! It?s the sweetest sound ever!

Jessicalovestrevor: She got her BFP on 6/2! Her first beta was 33 and her second one was 119!! She has her first u/s on the 30^th. Please pray for a H&H 9 months!

Shotzie: She got her BFP on Sunday, June 7!!! Congratulations, Shotzie!!! Her second beta was 384 and she will have an early ultrasound on 6/25. Please pray for a healthy heartbeat and great ultrasound!

Julybride07:  At her OB appt.  (6/9) she is ? cm dilated and 80% effaced! Please pray momma and baby Ben, that he may come on his own time and healthy!

Perry: Her blood lead level is fine and her cardiologist said that her heart will be fine during pregnancy. Also, the pain in her hand has subsided a little! Her RE appointment went well! They are all set up to TTC in August. They hope to see a couple of good follies and trigger on August 10. Also, her hand will not need surgery! Ladies, thanks so much for all of your prayers!

2P?sNaPod:  She got her BFP!! Congratulations!!! Please pray for a healthy and happy pregnancy.

Anasara:  Her RE appt went well.  DH's 2nd SA was normal & she has an HSG on 6/23.  If that's all clear they?re onto IUI #1. 

Special Prayer Requests: 

Sarai: Please pray for a BFP! If AF shows and she is not pregnant this month, she will have another surgery in July to remove the polyps. Once the polyps are removed her ob/gyn says that they should TTC right after because her polyps have been growing back in 4 months. This would be her 4^th surgery.

Softskate:   She did have a c/p and they will be trying again this month. Please pray for them during this difficult time.

Borst-Plotz:  Her u/s on Saturday (6/13) showed that the cysts were gone and her right ovary was already producing follicles! There was a small blood/fluid filled sac on her left ovary but the u/s tech didn?t think it was anything to worry about! Pray for a successful cycle!

Perry:   The ligaments and tendons in her hand are hurt badly enough that she won?t be able to use her hand for another two months. It is very painful for her. Please pray for her to have peace and patience while it heals.

KyleneD:  She and her DH had to get blood tests to see if they are carriers of SMA (spinal muscular atrophy).  KyleneD?s test results yielded that she?s a possible carrier.  If her DH is a carrier, then their children have a 25% chance of having SMA. Please pray that her DH is not a carrier! They won?t find out the test results until next week.

Mrs. Teejer:  Unfortunately, her IUI #1 was not successful. She will be starting Clomid again on Friday. Please pray for her to have peace and comfort during this time and please pray that her next cycle will result in a BFP!  

Sarai: She has her u/s on Monday (6/15) to check for polyps. If she has some they will need to take a break from TTC. Please pray all goes well and they can continue on their journey TTC!

 

Praying for a blessing: A new member! She and her DH have been TTC #1 since August 2007. Please pray for them to have strength to get through the tough days and tests and please pray that they will get a BFP soon!

 

Alison: Our newest member! She is 27 years old. They have been TTC their first child for 2 years. She was diagnosed with severe endometriosis. She is coming off of 7 months of lupron and is waiting for AF. Then she will start IVF. Please pray for a BFP!

 

Zanymermaid: She is shocked by how much her IVF medication costs, even with insurance. Please pray that she and her DH will have both the financial resources and patience to go through with this process.

 

Reflection: Psalm 29: 3-4: The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders, The Lord is over many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic.

 

Question of the day: Is there anything that you are a fanatical fan (just plain crazy) about? For me, I?m a fanatical fan of dogs, horses, Twilight, and Harry Potter.

GROUP UPDATE: -If you have any upcoming events (appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, etc) be sure to let me know so I can post them in the events section!! All ladies TTC ? please pray for continued strength, patience, and understanding as they struggle each cycle. Provide them comfort when AF arrives or they see a BFN on the test stick.

NEW MEMBERS: WELCOME!! Basically just check in daily and pray for your prayer partner. Most prayer partners also e-mail, chat, etc to each other about what they?ve been going through and support each other.

Ladies, I found a very inspiring sermon about infertility posted on the TTTC board on the nest. I emailed the person who wrote the sermon and she mentioned that if anyone is interested in reading her sermon, I can email it to them. If you are interested, please let me know, I will be more than happy to email it.

i think i am in desperate need of prayers. ive been praying with my H and im still terrified. I am going for my next appt on July 1st and i am a nervous wreck that my kidney levels will fall again and i will never be able to carry a baby to term. at my current levels my doc said its a coin toss. borderline between ok and bad-and that i should prepare myself for the worst. We will start to TTC #1 this summer when all of my testing is done. Im 25, DH will be 29 in 2 months.

this is wonderful for you to have a prayer group. thank you and i would love to get involved. Its so hard to talk to people IRL about this stuff. they are all 'healthy' and popping out babies left and right. im having a girls night at my house tomorrow...one is PG, one just had a baby last month and the other 2 have. combined, 6 healthy kids (range 1year to 4 years). ive tried to speak about it to them but they dont get it. i find myself dealing with this by myself. My H is very supportive but in a way i dont think he 'gets it'. a man can never feel or understand what horrible feelings and thought ive been having. Thank you again

UPDATE: For now I have my Pre-Op appt scheduled for June 29th and my Surgery scheduled for July 10th.
