    About halfway to the 1 mark, and usually 1-2 extra rinses (the cold rinse from the hot wash cycle, and then one extra rinse, sometimes two if there's still suds).

    I was told 1 T. max, and then I have always done a hot wash, cold rinse.  It seems to be working with our diapers so far!
