seriously confused - where is AF/my BFP?

My "usual" luteal phase length is 14 days long. Since the MC my cycles have varied, being shorter (11) and slowly climbing back up. This cycle, my chart definitely looks triphasic, I have symptoms (phantom or not), and this morning my temperature was super high again and my boobs are even bigger. I've taken six pregnancy tests since 12 DPO. Negative/mostly negative.* WTF? It's now 16 DPO. Has anybody else had so many BFNs before a late BFP? 

*clarification: yesterday I took an early response test that had a very faint +, then peed on it again later and washed it away. Whoops! ( I plead TTC-ing insanity - I know not to re-pee) Today one of my tests had a faint + again (I could see it at 5 minutes, hubby couldn't see it until 11 minutes after the timer began - does that count?)

You could try another brand of tests... im not sure about the disapearing line.

I've tried two drugstore no-names and they were negatives (12, 14 DPO), and I've tried FRER this morning (BFN), but the two faint positives (the one that washed away when I re-peed yesterday, and the one that's faintly + from today) were both Clear Blue Early Detection.

I would try again and POAS (buy another Clear Blue one). Sounds like if you got a faint line you are pg. Oh, and please don't re-pee on them, that doesn't work. Best of Luck to you!

The line could be the evaporation line.  Call your DR and have them check your blood.

 I'm going to call my doctor today! I don't think it's an evaporation line, just because I could see it after two minutes (we took it out of the package after the ten minutes for hubby to see it). I didn't want to take it out before ten minutes, because I've read that exposing it air can change the results - but it looked like this before taking it out. Maybe I should try a digital test next time.

I would get a digital and pee on that.  If it says that beautiful word, PREGNANT, then call the dr.

I would buy another, and try again.  Waiting 10 minutes isn't always accurate either.  I would buy another just to be sure.  I hope this is it for you!

Oh, I am so baby crazy it's not even funny. But, if I'm pregnant, maybe I can blame my hormones ?! I have to go to work now, but I'll see if I can drop by the doctor's at lunch. I think I'll have to sneak a digital into the house - DH is starting to raise his eyebrows at all the HPT packages everywhere! lol

I believe there's open circles around ovulation because I changed my wake-up time to an hour later (I was travelling, and there was a one hour time difference).

I went to a nearby GP today to get a requisition for bloodwork. Short story, the man is positively prehistoric! Fun phrases include:

"every woman ovulates on day 14 and has a 28 day cycle"

"pregnancy can't be detected until you've missed at least two periods" (coincidentally quoting almost verbatim a 1952 home health encyclopedia I own - my jaw hit the floor)

[about early detection pregnancy tests] " they're just measuring progesterone (!!!!) so you can't actually tell if you're pregnant or not"

[about my chemical pregnancy] "there's no way you were pregnant, you can't know before two months have passed and those pregnancy tests couldn't have picked it up"

In the end, I sat there, open-mouthed and in shock. He told me that he wouldn't write a requisition for bloodwork because the "government doesn't support recreational testing." As in, for fun. He told me to come back in four weeks and we would do a blood test then to see if I was actually pregnant. ARGGHHHH!!!
