sharp pains?

anyone get sharp pains by your private area? The OB said it was probably the baby engaging. It mostly happens in the evenings and it is different from BH. It feels like a sharp knife is going through my bottom.

I do--it feels like she is pinching or clawing at my cervix. My doctor said it could be the head engaging or maybe the baby on a nerve in my pelvis.
