Ugh a horrible week (NBR)

DHs grandfather passed away on Thursday - somewhat unexpectedly - he was in the hospital but no one thought he was near death when he was admitted.it just seemed to have  been time.

DH was raised by his grandfather so that was his "dad"

Been a tough few days following - the wake was Sunday and funeral was Monday. Went beautifully - they asked me to write/read the eulogy. I was honored....

I'm just so tired and drained.

I'm so sorry! My dh was raised by his grandparents too. I know it was so hard for him when they passed away.

I totally feel your pain.  DH's Grandma who raised him passed away on Thursday as well, I was there when she died, it was horrible, and has all been exhausting.
