EF Magic Eraser alternative?

While I'm actually thinking about cleaning - does anyone know of an EF alt. to Magic Eraser? I'm trying to get toe scuffs off the back of the stairs and also some permanent marker off the back door.

Probably not, but those seem to be the magic answers to everything else.  I do miss my magic eraser

me, too! i might have to just give in and buy one because we have to get the marker off the door. we rent and we can't afford to replace a door when we leave!
