i have been following your updates with abby and i havent had a chance to post to you... but this xmas my husband was admitted to the hospital with meningitus as well... when he went in he was septic and shouldent be alive, but the meds and the antibiotics that he was given did wonders.

i know the age diffrence is great with my husband and your daughter but meningitus sucks......

Thanks for sharing your story!  We actually think it wasn't meningitis, but another form of bacteria that she picked up in the OR.  Regardless, infections like that are SCARY! Thank God for good antibiotics!!
