Anyone's DC pretty much skip over baby food and go straight to finger foods?  DS is not impressed with either rice ceral or apples.  (He won't let me put the spoon in his mouth, and when it does he spits it out.)  However, he does like baby mum mum crackers.

I have to trick Isabelle into eating puree's. Its been a battle. She would much rather do all finger foods, but I worry shes not getting everything she needs from puffs...etc. She does eat cheese, lunch meat, bread and some other things. I just make sure she gets a fruit and vegi from puree each day. GL!

That's the theory behind "baby led weaning" - no purees.  Just real food.  Google it and you should find some good info about it.   Ben didn't do much with purees.  We were done with them as soon as he could pick things up and put them in his mouth on his own.  WHich was fine by me.  Purees are so messy and gross.
