Last night my mom and I went to BRU to return some clothes I had gotten at my shower.  I only had a gift receipt for about 3 items.  And some I wasn't even sure if they were bought at BRU or carters.  Well, the girl scanned all the clothes and since they sold it at BRU, I was able to get a store credit for everything.  And it ended up being close to $100 so of course we just spent it that night.  But it totally saved us a trip to the carters store.  I was so happy to know that they will take it back as long as they sell it.

That's great.  I returned one outfit that I received at my shower with out a receipt and the girl had to search the database for the person who bought it.  It took about 15 minutes but ultimately, I received the credit for it.

I'm confused, why wouldn't they take it back if it's something they sell? They don't have anyway of knowing where you got it from...

That's awesome!  Congrats on being able to return those clothes.  BRU has their moments where they are great.

Because most places won't if you don't have a receipt. Like Target - they are a nightmare.

Target is the worst for returns without a receipt.  I am just glad they didn't give me any trouble returning the clothes.
