I am not up to the task and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the project I took on... we wanted to get a wall decal but after realizing it would be over $100 for the size we wanted we went back to our idea of using something a tree with chalkboard paint. Then I discovered I could get tintable chalkboard paint so the tree could actually look like a tree - so I bought it yesterday. But now I am freaked out by it. I am not that artsy and DH has already commented that I will screw up the wall and then be all sad and upset for ages before I make him paint over it... he's so supportive, eh?
Re: Anyone want to paint my kid's room?
lol! gotta love DH's!!
i don't have much to offer except to sketch out your design on the wall in pencil before starting with paint - then you can erase and start over as many times as you need to until you decide it's how you want!

That's my plan... I just hope it comes out ok. I'm so weird about stuff for DS - getting it wrong gets me so upset. I just want things to be perfect for him and its hard becuase I am not perfect! haha
none of us are! :-) i'm sure it'll be okay.. the only other thing i can think of is finding someone who has one of those old school projectors that teachers used to use for transparancies so you can find an image you want, project onto the wall, and then trace it??? lol..
