Svan Chair?

I'm looking at high chairs and was interested in the Svan chair. I really liked the looks and the fact that it had a plastic tray which could later be removed so that it could become a toddler chair, but it's a lot of money. Do moms who purchased the chair think it was worth the money? What do you like or not like about the chair?

Is it a big deal if the chair doesn't recline?

We have and Anka by Svan and absolutely love it. ?It's more my style and the darker color matches exactly with our dining table. ?The cushion comes off and can be thrown in the washing machine plus you can buy others in different colors. ?DS didn't start eating in it until about 6.5 months when we started solids. ?I'm not sure why you would want the chair to recline - it's for eating. ?Love it!!

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was good to have the high chair recline in case my baby isn't sitting up well on her own independently yet so that she could hang out in the chair while I'm in the kitchen even if she's not eating.

I love, love, love my Anka.  We purchased another high chair (Kettler) and returned it before buying the Svan.
