Tmoblie just dropped me! I'm so annoyed! If you have AT&T do

you like them and what phone do you have?  I didn't expect to have to do this tomorrow.  Tmobile just called to say they are dropping me b/c I roam to much.  This is something I had no idea about since it isn't a charge I receive on my bill. Someone said they lost a tower so it must be too expensive to have me.  They said I have until July 6.  I have never heard of this.  I just bought a new phone a few months ago too.  They said I could use it w/ AT&T, but for some reason it won't take or accept pictures through AT&T since it isn't one of their phones..  So I just wasted $120 on a camera phone when the pictures do me no good.  I am just so frustrated!

  • We've had them for YEARS, and love them (AT&T).  I have a blackberry curve.
  • That's crazy! I would think they would be happy to be making some $ off of you but I didn't realize they even charge roaming like that anymore. You should come to Verizon and help pay my salary. ;-)

  • I have had att/cinglar for 6-7 years and I have never had problems with them.  I have the Iphone.  I do know unless the phone you just bought is an unlocked phone it wont work at all with anyother cell phone company.  Most cell phone companys dont sell unlocked phones that way you can trade with out of comapny people.

They are not making any money off of you, they are losing money, since they have to pay everytime you roam (even if you don't).  That is why they are dropping you.  I worked for AT&T for 5 years, they have the best coverage overall and competitive rates. Verizon has the 2nd best coverage and about the same rates.  I would get one and make sure it works where you live.  If it doesn't, you have a time period to return it, I think it is 30 days.

I knew that. Obviously you can tell I slept through training that day. That's still a sh*tty way to be. I'm thinking about leaving them too (but for diff. reasons).
