6-month appt. was great!

DS had his 6-month appt. today with the pedi and it went great.  At his 4-month, he was in the 50th percentile for weight and 20th for height.  Now he is in the 75th for both weight and height!!  We also got the green light for starting solids.  I know most babies start around 6 months, but initially we were told to wait until 8-months so DS' adjusted age would be 6-months.  I'm excited to buy a highchair tomorrow and break out the Beaba Babycook!!

    That's great, M! We started solids at 6 months actual, too. Simon is doing great!

    The pedi said to start with rice cereal.  DS already gets some in his bottle to help with the reflux, but I'm going to make it thicker and give it to him by spoon.  If he figures out how to eat from a spoon, then I can move on to something else.  I have no idea what veggie to start with....soooo many choices.  I guess I will try something that is in season since I would like to be as organic/farmer's market friendly, as possible.
