Boosma!Hi there! I just read your eply to another post re:hives and realized you're a nurse practitioner! I wonder if i could ask your professiona opinion. I had writeen a post earlier about my 3 year old daughter who has contracted Poison Ivy. She has a bad patch on her arm that i'm worried about but also a few patches to her face...not as severe as her left arm but nevertheless i am worried about hypopigmentation from the sores. So far i am keeping her out of the sun...the Dr only prescribed "cuticane" i bleieve which is a topical steroid. I only received one response to my post from a girl who mentioned that because there were sores on her face i should request oral steroids...None of the sores are "weeping" they are dry, scaly patches. Also approximately how long does it take to see some imrovement..this is only the 2nd day of steroid application. Thanks in advance!! |
