Baby Names

Help me decide!

I think that DH and I may have FINALLY come to the agreement that we will name our little girl Macy. I need your opinion on the mn, it will be a family name. I am debating between

Macy Alise

or

Macy Collett

(our last name is pronounced "rin")

Alise is after my grandmother's first name. Collett is  the same grandmother's last name (and also then of course my mother's maiden name AND my sister's middle name.)

I like both, I am not sure which flows better- I am sure there are some of you that will say "neither" but it is important to me to use one or the other. Thanks!

I think Macy Alise flows better, esp with your last name.

  • I like them both, but if Collett is pronounced like Collette, then that gets my vote! Very pretty and timeless.

(It is pronounced like Collette -it is actually an italian name though - it was Colletti in Italy but when my family got off the boat, the i got dropped for some reason and it became Collett!)

Even more reason to use it! Love the name, love the story.

  • I love Collett. It is sooo pretty and I love the family history behind it.

  • I like Macy Collett the best, but both are beautiful names.  I really like both of them.....it would be hard to decide.

Collett.  Because it is a cool name and something she will share with a number of ladies in your family.  I love that my niece and I share a middle name.
  • Macy Alise. Cute!
  • Macy Collett - I'm a huge fan of this name!
