We are taking my parents out for their 20 year anniversary in a few weeks. I am at a total loss of where to go, I was thinking Kirkland/Bellevue. Mason will be with a babysitter, so we don't need kid friendly.
Thanks

Any thoughts on what you want to eat? Pearl at lincoln square is really good, in kirkland there are several great places including the beachhouse (the old per foghorn) its not super fancy but its right on the water and has a great atmosphere and fun drinks. Also BluWater is great and its right there at carillon point or ristorante paradliso in kirkland is wonderful, the chef there was one of the chef's at princess diana's wedding! I love sushi now has a location on lake bellevue and they have fantastic sushi and its fun to sit outside on the patio
We went to Pearl for our anniversary and it was GREAT...
I love Purple in Kirkland too.
Cactus in Kirkland is fun and yummy - it's mexican, but not like Azteca, it's more upscale.
We just went to Monsoon in Bellevue - really good. It's Vietnamese, but I feel like it's more like Wild Ginger - more interesting stuff.
Bis on Main is small and cute and nice. (BEllevue)
If you're willing to go to Bothell, go to the Preservation Kitchen - https://www.preservationkitchen.com/aboutus.html - I've only been there for brunch, but it was really good and they use local, fresh ingedients, and they're in an old house, and it's just really cute.
Any of those places will have plenty of non-red meat options - well maybe Daniels Broiler woudl be a bad choice But I know I had some really good fish at the Pearl.... I've heard good things about Sea Star but I ahven't eaten there.

Thanks for the input. My step-dad doesn't eat red meat, we are all huge seafood fans.
Has anyone eaten at SeaStar?
Really? Wow! I had no idea!
I was going to suggest Melting Pot, Daniel's Broiler (great views), El Gaucho, or Seastar in Bellevue. I love Purple Cafe in Kirkland.
I should've read all the responses before I responded!
Seastar is one of DH's all-time favorite restaurants. They have some great wines, as well.
