She was this gorgeous german shepherd/great pyraneese mix...so beautiful. She was loyal, sweet, loved hugs and pets, and was ultra protective.
She's had health problems on and off for a while. My step-dad had to take her in today because she kept collapsing and her legs wouldn't hold her. I'm not exactly sure what the vet said, but the ended up having to put her down.
My step-dad is broken up about it and wants to find another exactly like her, but really, there's no replacing Bear. I can't imaging going to their house without her being there. They have had her as long as they have lived in that house.
Re: Oh shoot! My parents had to put their dog down. :(
Aww. Your poor parents.
It's horrible having to put animals down.
My parents ended up getting two kittens 6 weeks after their cat died. They just couldn't stand a house with no pets.
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
Coming from a huge animal lover, I am dreading the day we will have to do that to our dog.
You can never replace your family pet...they are like another child.
Thoughts are with your family today..
so sorry
losing pets is SO hard.
we had to put our shepard mix down a while back and it was for the exact same reason. shepard's get hip dysplasia sp? really bad. our poor guy couldn't even get up to go to the bathroom anymore...it was so sad, you could see it in his eyes that he was suffering.
at least bear can get up and run freely now
