Thanks, pinktulips for telling us where to get a cool Sophie toy! Emmeline loves hers and attacks the feet like some kind of wild animal. She also holds it like she's playing the bag pipe...it's hilarious! And the greater good network site donated 28 bowls of food for animals in shelters...got my warm and fuzzys for the day.

I think I have the only kid who does not LOVE Sophie. We got one when he was about 6 months old and he likes it for about 3 seconds then drops it to move on.   I feel like I wasted 15 bucks on the hype. But you just don't know what your baby will like and what they will not like.

LOL at holding Sophie like the bagpipes. Too cute!! She needs a tiger-stripe kilt and a zebra-stripe tam-o-shanter to complete the look.

I wonder what it is about that toy - every kid I know has one, and LOVES it.?

I got Sophie for Payton and she only mildly enjoyed chewing on it.   But I gave it to Ryan and he can't get enough.  We let him go to town on it in the carseat and going places has been so much nicer ever since!

Ray San didn't care for it until he started teething.  He absolutely LOVES it and can't get enough of it!!

That is so funny... and true!  My sister played the bagpipes for 10 years and my brother has been involved with pipe bands for about 20 years now (he's a champion Scottish drummer and instructor, in CA).  Hilarious comparison!!!

It confused the dog a lot.  Put it throuogh the washer and dryer and you'll have no more squeaks

Sophie is like baby crack.  It must be something in the "French rubber" its made from.  I never, ever left the house without it for months.
