I gained 29 pounds total with #1 and I'm only up 8 pounds so far with this one- I think I was up at least 15-20 at this point with #1. I guess running around after a 12 month old really keeps the weight off!
well yikes.. now that I just checked, I noticed I'm up twice as much at this point as I was last time! But it's different. W/ DD#1 I gained 37 lbs and at this point had only gained 5. I gained about 5 lbs before getting PG w/ DD#1 because I wanted to be at a healthier weight for baby. This time, I started out 10 lbs lighter then last time and I've now gained 10 lbs. So I'm now at my pre-PG weight for DD#1.
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
35 lbs with DS. I lost it all plus 5 more pounds, so I started off smaller this time. I'm gaining at the same rate, but I feel grosser this time. My belly was cute and perky with DS. This time I feel like a middle-aged man with a gut hanging out.
Also, that OWT stuff about being pregnant with a girl "stealing your beauty?" I'm starting to believe it's true.
Gained 9lbs with DS#2 ( I was really sick the last 3 weeks of pregnancy and lost 5 pounds)
Lost 1lb with DC#3 so far. I'm not sick or vomiting at all, so the losing weight part kind of worries me. But as long as the baby is growing, then I don't care.
I gained about 30lbs with DD. Then I lost it all plus 8lbs. I am currently at the same weight that I started with DD so I don't expect to get as high as I did last time (I hope). I'm also hoping this means it will come off easier/faster.
I gained right around 40 with both. I think I would have gained a little less the second time if I didn't end up bed rest and I had tailbone pain throughout the 2nd and 3rd tri's that made walking painful so I really did not do much. I was smaller the second time around although I showed way earlier
I gained 24 with DS and he was 6 weeks early but DD was full term and I only gained 18. I think it was running around after DS that helped...I was more active the 2nd time I guess.
So far I'm only up 4 lbs which was less than I gained by this point with DD. I'm hoping not to gain as much as I did with DD (although I did lose it all within 6 mo. pp).
Re: How much did you gain with #1? Is #2 different?
