Diaper warmer...

I registered for one but after hearing several complaints on the 0-6 month board about them drying out the wipes and not working well I am taking if off....have you heard of any other "must have products" that turn out to be a waste of money?

  • prine lionhart one SUCKS! if you get it take it back.

The BRU brand one...It's baby something is awesome!!!!!!!! no drying out, no need for replacements pads, stays moist and warm and was amazing for my ds who hated diaper changes!

  • Did they say if it was a specific model or brand that was drying out the wipes?  I have several friends who swear by the wipe warmers and even suggested I get the travel warmer.
  • Diaper wipe warmers are a waste.  My sister, SIL, and I all three had different models and seriously never used them.

The only must have that I would recommend is a vibrating/bouncing chair.  It was WONDERFUL b/c it was portable so I could carry it all over our house!

  • I have the lionheart brand one and I love it, it has never dried out the wipes and DD loves the warmth!! Before I had it she would cry and pee all over bc the wipes were cold, Ive had it a month and totally love it. I would wait to see if your LO minds the cold wipes before buying one though, no point in waisting money if you dont need to!
  • I think baby bargains said that they (wipe warmers) are a fire hazard also...but, I dont know if that is a specific brand or not.

  • I have the Muchkin brand wipe warmer from Target and I love it.  The only way the wipes ever get dried out is when I leave the flip-top open and then its only the 1st wipe that is dry.  There is also a little light on the front that DS used to like, anything to distract him while I was changing him helped!
