So this is my first cycle charting and until today it kept telling me that my temps fluctuate too much...
I got my Smiley Face OPK on CD13, earlier this week, but my temps have now dropped, not staying up for 3 days.
I'm new at this and am totally confused...am I doing somethig wrong with taking my temp? Is the fact that it's up and down and all around an issue? Do I need to go through a full cycle to really be able to read my chart?
I'm hoping this link works:

Thanks for any insight you can share!
Re: Question on my chart:
It can take a cycle or two to get into the swing of charting. What you'll be looking for in the overall patterns, not the day to day variance. Your chart looks okay to me, it's super early on to tell very much.
Just hang in there, keep charting and it will become clearer.
I'll assume you are temping at the same time every morning after at least 3 hours of uninterrupted sleep?
Have a look at my chart if you want to see wild temp swings
Yep-5:45am every day. One day I must have pushed snooze and didn't temp until 5:55am, so just 10 minutes later.
Do you think that's too late and I'm already starting to "stir"...that I should move it to earlier?
As long as it's the same time and you've just woken up it should be okay. If you been lying there awake beforehand at all that can change it.
I have to move my time back to 5am from 7am after my first cycle, and that made a difference. I take it and go back to sleep.
A + OPK usually precedes O by 12-72 hours. You could O today!!! Hang in there!
I agree with this.
I don't know if this will help, but... when I first started charting, I literally just took my temps, entered them into FF, and didn't think much else about it. When I got the crosshairs, I thought, ok, that is cool. Now, in my 9th cycle of charting, I start fretting over my temps and basically freaking out because I didn't think I was going to ovulate. (not sure if you saw my post the other day) Well, it looks like I ovulated after all, and now I feel silly for fretting so much about it.
What I'm saying is, try not to "study" your chart too much before you get a few cycles under your belt. I never really obsessed until this cycle, and I just have to not do that.
I bet you will O today too, as the other ladies said. HTH!
