stupid reflux...

Ugh they said it would get better when Brendan turned 1. But it hasn't in fact it's getting worse, wtf!?! He is fine when he has a bottle but if we give him solids within minutes he is puking. This is new, because before we would give him solids, same kind as now, and he was fine. what the hell!

That does suck.  Big time. 

Does the puking happen in the middle of the feeding or when it is over?   I'm just wondering if maybe he is swallowing too fast or too much.   Are the solids exactly the same or do they have more texture/taste than before?  Does he do it with everything or just certain foods?

What kind of food is he eating?

It seems to happen within minutes of him being done, and honestly he doesn't eat that much to begin with ? Today it was oatmeal and stage 2 bananas which he has been eating for at least 2-3 months ?He has been doing this with all solids though. We see the pediatrician on Tuesday so I wil have to ask her what to do.?

It's funny you mentioned this b/c Marino's reflux seems to have gotten worse lately too. Its usually a couple hours after he eats. My thinking is that its because he moves around so much (which you have witnessed first hand ) On Saturday, he threw up a ton 3.5 hours after his last meal!

Poor boys!

Katie - has he been sick at all lately?  Sometimes excess drainage/mucus can cause vomiting right after eating.

Is he on any meds?

Nope no sickness, but he is teething...which I am wondering could be the root cause?
