Anyone else still clueless on a Father's Day gift?

Or is it just me? Usually I'm pretty good at coming up with good gifts for DH.  This year not s'much.  Maybe because Mikayla's birthday party is the day before. 

I did get him a card with a pic of him and Mikayla on it, and this, it's a personalized stadium seat cushion with our last name on it - he's a season ticket holder for the Seahawks and I thought he might like it for the games.  I have no idea if he'll think it's dumb or will actually use it:

Other than that, I got nothin'!  It doesn't help that money is tight right now with all of M's birthday plans.  Seems like everything he'd want is expensive, ie. a flatscreen TV!

DH wants a flat screen TV too and it's just not in the budget. He knows that too but he says, "I can still dream" lol. I am stuck too. Usually I am really creative with that kind of stuff but I am just stuck. I thought maybe it was just me and my pregnant mind.

Could we have a brainstorming session for Father's Day Ideas???

We're not really doing gifts - just a card and a picnic like we did for mother's day.

I am thinking of getting dh a gc to the golf course by his work, so he and some friends can go after. And tickets for us to go to an Aquasox game in July. 

I think the seat cushion is really great!

I think the seat cushion is great, DH loves football so he would like that. I went to the paint your own pottery place at Mill Creek Town Center and made a frame that says "Max Loves Daddy" with Max's foot prints on it. They had it done really quickly so you could still do something like that and have it in time, if you want to do an additional gift.

yeah, I've got nothing. Although I didn't get anything for Mother's Day either - cards and flowers. But that's all I wanted. We just don't do gifts much.  we never can figure out anything to ask for.   I like to try to do something small and thoughtful though. I jsut can't think of anything.  I guess I'm not thoughtful.

We're not much for gift giving either. I got him the Dads book by the people who did the Daring books for Boys and we're going to the Beer fest if the weather's nice.  But that's more for me.

I ordered a personlized photocard from shutterfly with a pic of DH and Nathan. Next week, my Moms group is getting together to make a Fathers Day craft...a cement stepping stone with the kids foot print. Not something I would do on my own and I'm glad someone is helping me. DH went all out for Mothers Day, so I need to come up with a few more ideas.
