she'll probably have 3 bottles while she's there, so i'm going to send her with 5 bottles, 5 bibs, diapers, a&d, 2 pacifiers, 3 onsies, 2 pants (she'll wear shorts) a long sleeved sleeper, sun hat.
they provide wipes, blankets, sheets, and burp cloths.
should i send her with a blanket from home? anything else she'd need?
Re: packing for daycare
Does your daycare provide a list of what they recommend/want you to pack? Ours does, and it is very helpful.
I would definitely send a blanket. We were asked to send a blanket and 2 crib sheets for her bedding.
They should probably have a list to get you started. For DS, I sent 5 bottles per day (he took 4, so he usually had an extra), and they kept two changes of clothes, wipes, diapers, and a pacifier there for him. They also asked us for a picture for his crib. What about Desitin or diaper ointment? It may be good for them to have on hand for when he needs it. (They just keep some on hand for DS now.) I also sent a nose sucker, because he had a runny nose over the winter, but that may not be a problem starting in the summer.
Our day care provide bibs, crib sheets, blankets, burp cloths.
DS also a bit of trouble adjusting when he first started at 3 months, so I took in a vibrating seat for him (they didn't have any electronic stuff there) and a night shirt I had slept in. I highly recommend something that will smell like you, like a blanket, lovey, or night shirt.
