Re: have you tried swim diapers?

  • Huggies Lil Swimmers. They did fine! Most swim diapers aren't very absorpant, but hold in the poo great. So careful how long the swim diaper is on when not in the water!
  • we have a bummis and it's great. I think I probably should have invested in a one-size though, instead of a sized diaper.

ETA: with free shipping, this might save you $$ depending on how often you plan to swim: https://www.sewcraftybaby.com/store/WsDefault.asp?Cat=SWIMDiapers&Sub=184&isThumbs=No&Thumbs=

Swim diapers are actually designed to only hold in poop.  Pee goes right through them (chlorine takes care of pee).  I've used both Huggies and Pampers on all of the kids, and really have no preference for any of them.

  • yup. They hold poo not pee. Ds pee'd all over dh when we put him in it to go swimming.
  • We used the huggies because we couldn't find the pampers. We got the size small & they're big on her, but they did ok. She peed in them and it didn't get all over me. They did smell funny though when they got wet.?
  • We use the Pampers ones. They worked fine.
  • The Pampers variety - and they worked just fine.  She's not into lap swimming or anything yet... so for toddling around in the zero entry...
  • We used little swimmers (huggies I think).  They are huge on DD.  She's 14 lbs max (prob less).
