Prayers needed!

Not for me....but I'm sitting here at work feeling absolutely helpless...so I thought I could ask others to send their good thoughts/prayers to a good friend of mine.

 She delivered her baby by c/s this morning.  He is at Children's and has a 50% chance of survival.  Because of a birth defect (the majority of his organs are up in his chest area), his lungs were not able to properly develop.  He can not breathe on his own. 

They will probably be at Children's for 6-12 weeks at least and that's if everything goes right.

Please think good thoughts for her family!  Thank you!

How scary. If anyone can help, it would be Children's. My cousin's little girl has a major heart defect and they have saved her life more than once. I'll be thinking of them!

My prayers are with your friend and her new baby boy! 

My friend is still there with her baby Chase who was given less that a 50% survival rate to even make it to full term, Chase has been a big fighter and I believe is going in for open heart surgery this week! 

The best things you can do later on is take dinner to Childrens once your friend is out of the hospital.  Cafeteria food gets pretty old.  Offer to go sit with her some night once they can have visitors.
