Mean Mommy

PBS' PT put her in the crawling positon yesterday and I made her take her out of it after I snapped a quick pic. She is not even 4 months old and is already really advanced in a lot of areas I don't want to rush her even more. But in all honestly, I didn't want S to miss her crawling for the first time. I know she would be sad.

When I was working with her on the  balance ball this morning  I put her down she went to the crawling position and was about to crawl, I just know it. I didn't want S to miss it so I took picked her up again.

I suck.

  • You don't suck, I think its sweet you want S to be able to share in that moment.

  • Wow. Crawling at 4m?  You're in for it! Wink

That isn't bad at all - it is always sad when one parent misses big milestones.

  • Aww, that's sweet. You might not have to worry about her taking off crawling, though. For my two nieces, it was about 2 weeks before "crawling position" translated into actual "crawling" (and even then, it was backwards, not forwards).
