Babies: 9 - 12 Months

diaper poll...10 month old, crawler/cruiser

Ok ladies...we used swaddlers as a tiny baby. I new have a skinny (5th percentile) crawler/cruiser and we do not like the way the crusiers fit. I tried luvs (someone suggested) and for one little peanut that sleeps 12 hours at night...she has had quite a diaper rash since. I just don't think they absorbe as much! I tried huggies when she was a newborn and i hated them but i haven't tried them since. So...please tell me what kind of diapers you use!

  • i use huggies and they work fine. AS for night time, I coat DD's butt with diaper rash cream to protect her butt from the 13 hours of pee it's going to endure.

  • I use cruisers. They definitely are not Swaddlers but they get the job done. Have you tried baby dry? It is a different fit not elastic in the back.
  • Loading the player...
  • we use pampers baby dry
  • The Kirkland brand from Costco are very good -- have never had a leak, and they have elastic around the waist, which is good to help them fit.  The size 4s fit my 19 lb daughter and my 27 lb son perfectly.

hi there! we use the pampers dry fit. they do the job nicely! not crazy about the cruisers either. we haven't been lucky enough to do the 12 hour night test yet. one of these days he will surprise us as STTN!

  • We just switched to huggies.  He had blowouts daily with Baby Dry and we haven't had any issues since switching.  I say get a small pack and see.  That is what we did.  That way you don't feel too bad if they don't work and you have to get rid of them.
  • I do that too and it doesn't matter...triple paste and i have even put a and d over that! still a rash.

meant baby dry, not dry fit.

  • The fit is weird on pampers...they go all the way up her back and actually fold in the middle of her back. in the morning, she has a plumbers crack!image
  • Huggies Little Movers during the day

Huggies Overnights 1 size up at night

There's no way to adjust them and she doesn't fit in the 2's and we can never find the 2-3s! We need a better fit!

    (HI JC!)

  • I use Luvs or Target brand during the day. Huggies overnights at night.

  • We switch between crusiers and baby dry...I am not a fan on the netting in the cruisers but they fit DS well and we like the baby dry just as much. We do use Huggies Overnights or Pampers extra protection for over night use.

  • I've got a 9th percentile here who's tall and thin and we've been using Pamper's Baby Dry size 3's and Huggies size 4's for night time (We were given a huge thing of Huggies size 4's at a shower)

  • Pampers Cruisers.  We did do the Baby Dry and those always worked fine.  We moved up to try to see if Cruisers made a difference.
