I could be involved in 4 lawsuits

Between the mail on Friday and Monday, we received notice that we could join in 4 different class action suits.  One was against Costco for overcharging on something.  2 were against GM and Chrysler because we are stockholders (in regards to the bankruptcy hearings) and the last one was because we may have been cheated out of some rewards in a credit card program.

What is the world coming to when every little thing requires a lawsuit?

I don't think it's JUST that people are filing more lawsuits. I also think that lots of companies are greedy and trying to get away with screwing their customers/stockholders, etc. If companies were conducting their business more honestly, there would be fewer lawsuits, and I think customers would be less apt to want to file lawsuits.

I agree with this. I think its a combination of companies being greedy and not caring about their customers, and the customers being greedy and thinking everyone owes them all the time.
