** Jas'Girly** Ice cream cone cakes

Hey Tami,

I wasn't sure if you'd still be checking the post where ya paged me below so I figured I'd page you back.  Is Addy's birthday an ice cream theme?  You probably already have ideas for the cake, but I got this pan as a gift a few holidays ago, it's silicone and you bake the cake batter to look like an ice cream cone, then do frosting on top for the ice cream:

Another idea: Paula Deen did these on her show, she baked cake batter inside actual ice cream cones then frosted them.  I've always wanted to try it.  I think it'd be yummy to put a scoop of ice cream on top too!

I would think kids would love them!  And you wouldn't need any plates/bowls or utensils!

My mom made the cake ice cream cones too.... huge huge hits!!

My mom used to make these all the time when I was younger, i LOVED them!!  delicious!

Oh wow, my grandma used to make these for us girls when we'd go visit.  I haven't seen or thought about them in years.  TOO CUTE!

cwhip I love you woman!!!  I think our brains work the same way!  That pan is uber cute!!!!  I already have the ice cream cone cupcakes, baked in the cones, on the list of goodies to bake.  I am also making ice cream cone cake balls!!!  I will have to take a photo and show you!  WELL that is if they turn out like I want them too!  haha  We are doing a neapolitan ice cream cone type party...with lots o baked goodies and sweets!  It should be a fun time....now I just pray it does not give my child a sugar high till the wee hours.
