It's my son's name! Its a great name and he is the most unbelievable baby! He is so laid back and just goes with the flow. I have two older sons as well and believe me it is nice to have one that is easy-going! Good luck in the name hunt!

I also think of the actor first but I think that's only because he is the only Owen I know of. I can't recall meeting one IRL. I think it's a very down-home name; simple and practical, but cute. I also think it's a warm-feeling name. I like it!

DH has told me from day one our son's name will be Owen in honor of DH's grandfather. So, I associate it with my future son.

Well it's a surname in my family (we're Welsh) so that's the first thing that comes to mind. I think it's a very strong, masculine name.. love it!
