The apartment was found this way prior to the hurricane.  Hard to believe there wasn't a fire with all the cigarettes.

That is actually really sad. To think that someone horded that way. There must be a lot of shame or mental illness or something to explain this. This is not "normal" behavior and I hope whoever evacuated this women got her help and attention.

Ok that is absolutely putrid!    I agree with Kelin I am going to go bleach my eyeballs!  Yuck...  I dont think even rats can live in that mess.  That is the most disguisting thing I have ever seen. 

But my DH was sitting next to me and saw the pictures.  He said that he has been in a house worse than that!  He is a heating & cooling tech.  I cannot even imagine. If I opened someone's door and saw that mess I would leave! 

Thank you for making me realize that my house is clean!  I always say that its a mess.  But after seeing that my house is spotless!
