Today at Whole Foods, a man in his 60's came up to me and asked how old Stella was. Then he started talking to her saying, "oh look at those pretty eyes and rosy cheeks! you look like your mommy and daddy take care of you really well! you're just taking everything in, so smart!" It was so refreshing to hear some positive comments rather than just advice or "oh how cute" comments. It really made my day and I think I'll remember that for a long time.
Anyone else have comments from strangers that you remember in a good way?

We get this a lot too! I was very excited when I flew with him last week and several people complimented his behavior after the flight - not that I had much to do with it!

We go to the local flea market a lot, and an old German guy calls DS the "Philosopher." He says that DS is going to be a genius because he is so alert. Really, DS just stares at him because the man has a food cart selling donuts and DS loves food. It makes me giggle.
My favorite comments are about how DS looks like a little man instead of a baby. He really does look like a shrunken toddler. ?
