Target Brand Formula

anyone else use it? I was using Isomil but yesterday saw that the target brand is MUCH cheaper. is it worth it??

Re: Target Brand Formula

  • For us it is. It's 1/2 the price of Similac & DD has done fine with it for months now.

  • our pedi suggested we switch at her 6 month appt since there is no difference between the two.

We were on Isomil as well and she took the switch to TG brand just fine.  I love that it is almost half the price!

  • Absolutely!  DD had no problem going back and forth between generic and brand (when we had coupons)

Now I forgo the coupons entirely because the Target stuff was still cheaper!

  • I tried switching DD a few months ago w/ no success, but tried again about 2 weeks ago and she barely noticed it.  Target is like less than half of the Enfamil I was buying!

  • For our little guy it has been worth it.  We used enfamil the first few months because that is the sample we were given at the hospital.  We figured it was worth trying the Target brand and seeing if it worked well since it was half the price and our little guy did well on it.  For the $12/can it is definitely worth a try.
  • DD's been on it since 2 months old. She actually reacts poorly to Enfamil, so we stopped it altogether and give the coupons to our friends.
  • I use Sam's Club Brand, which is exactly the same a Target, but cheaper.  It is made in the same factory and the only thing different is the color of the package.  It is so worth it.
  • we've use the target and walmart brands for months. he actually does better on those than similac bc they don't have as many bubbles.
  • We use the Target brand (now called Up & Up) and have never had a problem with it. It is almost 1/2 the price of the brand name stuff....and does the same job! I even got a coupon with my reciept yesterday for $2.00 off of my next Up & Up formula.

  • We've been using the BRU form of Similac Sensitive, and he doesn't notice the difference.  I'm going to try Target's brand next time...
