TTC After a Loss

Charting question.. please help

So I know that alcohol has an impact on your temp and therefore I am worried about my O date.

Friday I was having what I believe to be O pains. Temp 96.5 Watery CM and BD

Saturday Had two glasses of wine at a wedding and danced, danced, danced. Temp was 96.6 but didn't check CM

Sunday morning Temp spike to 97.2 and when I woke the sheets were wet we were both really hot but later in the day I think I had EWCM so BD last night.

Today temp was 96.8 and I got crosshairs Yay! But I have been thinking about this with the wine and I am not sure when I O'ed.

If I play with FF and change my temp to normal range for Sunday it removes my crosshairs. If I had higher temps for the next two days then O is moved to Sunday not Friday.

I have made a note of the alcohol but I don't know if we should BD one more time of if we are ok.  I think that we would both rather have some time off without the pressure of performing.

If you have followed all of this and respond God bless. While I am glad I am charting it is confusing especially if you don't know if you are doing it right.

TIA

  • Ok, I think I got it! ?You should BD for another day or two, just to be safe. Alcohol makes my temps a mess too! ?

  • Loading the player...
  • Sorry about the confusion I just reread my post as though I didn't know what was going on and it is confusing.

I guess my three questions are...

    1. How much does alcohol affect temp? (I only had two glasses of wine, hardly drunk)

    2. Should I do anything with the temp to alter the O date?

    3. Should we keep BDing?

  • 1. It is difficult to say because everyone is different in their response to alcohol and a hot room.  I would just make a note for now that that temp is in question.

    2. I wouldn't for now.  Wait a few more days to see if your temps stay up.

    3. Yes, just to be certain.

  • I would say just keep BDing.

And if it makes you feel any better, alcohol seems to lower my temps a  little... so far. (I haven't been charting very long though.)
