Yet another invite AW, and help needed :)

Ok this is what I started out with...
(I will also include a 1st bday picture with the invite)


I tried this look but I dont think I like it so much...


I've also got this ribbon...any ideas on how to "jazz" up this card?

I think you could do something more 3D.  Maybe some cotton batting/fluff/cotton balls for the frosting, with bits of different colored felt for sprinkles (or crystals, buttons, whatever you wanted to use).

Maybe write out "One" across the top in some cute polka dot letters, or put the ribbon on the side with the opening, so the invite ties shut, and you can make a cute bow?

Some ideas to use the ribbon (but I think the first idea is very sweet)

You could use the brown ribbon with the large pink polka dot and place it "around" the cupcake wrapper like this...

 

you could use some pop dots to pop the cupcake top off the page.

You could do candles along the bottom out of ribbon.

There is this liquid stuff (that I can't remember the name of) that you squeeze over your picture and it dries hard to give it a 3d glossy effect.

thanks you guys! I love the ideas...problem is, I've already glued down 65 cupcakes onto the invites...(like the top picture) I just havent found the perfect finishing touch..therefore, Im stuck with all the cupcakes where they are

I have a ton of stamps!
What about something having to do with a 1st bday or something "sweet" or Happy Birthday?? Im wondering if I could stamp it on another piece of paper and stain around the edges like I did with the pink paper....its going to be time consuming but I think it will be worth it and help finish it off...

*stamps scare me! You have to be perfect or else it looks messed up...Im up for the challenge stay tuned!

I think either way you already have it is cute!  However if you could figure out the stamp part that would be cute too!  Good luck mama!
