Max has his 2 mo-old appointment and vaccinations scheduled this Tuesday. I am sticking with the routine schedule, however I am on the fence about the Hep B vaccine. We opted out of it at birth and I guess my concern is I don't want to get him vaccinated against anything he doesn't need to be vaccinated against. (He is not going to go to daycare).
I have read the literature on the vaccine and I guess I just want to get a concensus. So, did you get DC vaccinated against Hep B, why or why not. If no, are you going to? If so, when? TIA.

So yes, we got dc's Hep Bs done...they are not in daycare...just something we did...no real reasons, we're just vac'ing with the "normal" schedule
DD has not had it and won't until shes around 4-5. I know that my child is not having sex or using needles so I feel ok not doing it for a few years.
I just read a really interesting article on this particular vaccine the other day. When's his appt? I'll bring it for you at the next gtg if you're interested. (Its short)
Bwahahaha...I think I can keep a handle on Max's sex and drug, use for a few years at least!
His appointment is tomorrow. What does the article say?
