"What to expect BEFORE your expecting"

Has anyone purchased this book?  Did you find a ton of helpful info or more of what you already know?  Does it have sections on fertility drugs (clomid, etc.)

 I am thinking of picking it up this afternoon but wanted to know what you all thought of it...

I havent read that but I did buy what to expect when you're expecting & based on that book I would not recommend it. Its very strange & really centers around specific diets. I found other books that were much more helpful. My advice would be to browse that section of the book store & check out your other options on the same topic.

I can totally appreciate how this book may help people who have struggled with conception, and I feel this book will be revered in that case. However, for everyone else be prepared to have the magic of conception possibly ruined as baby making becomes a job, you are forced to follow a specific calendar, and monitoring your diet.

Do you think this person has any idea of the typical day of a GP'er with charting, OPKs, checking CM etc!  lol

I saw that in the book store yesterday. Most of those preconception books all say the same things and you can find it all online.

I would think no. I have ruined most of my friends idea of how to make a baby. lol

I got "Before Your Pregnancy" and enjoyed that along with TCoYF in prepping for TTC.
