I also posted this to 0-6 months, but thought some of you might also have some experience, as well as acupuncturists to recommend (particularly on the Eastside).
Did anyone try acupuncture to help get labor going toward the end of your pregnancy? I am considering this as an option further into my pregnancy, as I will be attempting a VBAC but must go into labor before 41 weeks to avoid an automatic c-section. I DO NOT want another c-section, so am researching natural methods of labor induction to help my body progress should I need it... If you tried it, how did it work? What week were you when you started treatments, and how many treatments did you receive? Was it painful (not that I care, just curious...). TIA!
Re: Repost from 0-6 mo: acupuncture for natural labor induction?
I am totally going to try this if I go past 40 weeks. I haven't looked into who I would use yet, but have a friend who is an acupunturist (unfortunately, she's currently out of town) who I will probably ask for a recommendation. If I go through with it, I'll post about my experience...since it looks like you have some time!
