Confused! + hpts 3 days in a row and - digital hpt. What??

Okay, so I took a internet cheapie HPT on Wednesday at 8 DPO (I know, I know - crazy early, but it was my wedding anniversary and I thought it would be great to find out that we were pg on that day and if not I could chalk it up to being too early).  I took 3 tests and got the faintest of faint lines - but I saw something.  Yesterday I took 2 more tests - faint line was there and more obvious (but still very faint).  I have been feeling very pg (just like I did with my past 2 pregnancies - very bloated, tired, slightly nauseaus, etc).  I have a Early Response Gold test left over from my last pregnancy in December and I was saving if for the confirmation test when I was pretty sure I was pg since they are expensive.  DH said to wait because it is so early, blah, blah, blah but I figured if I got faint lines on the internet cheapies, then I should get a + on the digi because it's an early result digi.  Well, I just took it and got a BFN - WTF??  I also took a internet cheapie and got a faint line.  I should explain that I am on CD31 and the longest cycle I have had since the miscarriage has been 32 days (and shortest 28 days) but I o'd on day 21 so today I am only 10 DPO. 

Have any of you guys used the First Response Gold digital test?  Any luck this early on?  Man, I was hoping to get that YES+ sign and stop wondering.  Grr... this is driving me nuts! 

My fingers are crossed hoping that my eggo is preggo.

Hmmm...I have sometimes heard that digitals take little bit more to get a + on... Check out:  peeonastick.com to know for sure.  But on the others, that sounds great!!!!     Or go out and get a FRER, those always work!  Let us know!

I'm pretty sure that it takes longer to get a + on a digital. Wait a couple more days and use another one. But definitely consider yourself pregnant....a line is a line. Congrats!

Yes, I think the digitals have a higher threshold.

I know a line is a line but they are really, really faint...  Now I am starting to psyche myself out... Ugh!

 

Do you think I would be totally crazy if I called my doctor and asked for a blood test today?

I?ve noticed that the internet cheapies tend to be a lot more sensitive than some of the others. Wait a couple more days and test with the digi. GL!

The digitals are less sensitive and if you are only 10DPO today it's still super early! Test in a few days or if you want better confirmation, call your Dr. for blood work. GL!

if there's even a faint line, that should mean that you have SOME hcg in you... i would assume that means KU! definitely get a blood test to be sure

I talked to my doctor's nurse.  I am going to go in Monday morning for bloodwork to get my levels checked.  And hopefully I will have a reason to go in on Wednesday morning to check to see if the levels doubled.
