Good evening ladies.  I am popping on and off as I prepare for DD 3rd birthday party tomorrow.  At any rate, it has been a crappy week.

My friend that I told you about with the tubular pregnancy...she lost her FIL this week almost exactly 6 months after she lost her MIL.

We finally got DH maternal grandpa home with home health and now his paternal grandpa is in the hospital and not looking real great.

I just need a hug.

Did you ladies get my e-mail from over the weekend?

I am so sorry you are having a rough time.  I did get your email, right beforew we left to go camping, sorry I never wrote back.  I wish I could come give you a real hug

Hey ladies.  I'm here.  Just worked a 13 hour day, totally missed both Evie and Lewie's bedtime.  They changed an attendance policy at DH's work and he's griping about it and talking about how all the techs should walk out.  Like I'm working overtime so he can walk out?  ugh...sorry...

Brooke - I did get your email, sorry I haven't responded.  I will most certainly mail it out.  Do you want to email me the address??  I am so sorry for your friends losses.  I will definitely keep her family and yours in my prayers.  Sending you big hugs from OK. 

barbra- good to see you. 

Emma - hello   Still haven't got the tv mounted.  You can imagine how thrilled Lew is.  LOL

I was going to finish painting tonight.  Not getting home until after 9 pretty much killed that idea.  We still have the big monster.  Lew won't dismantle that until we have the other tv operational.  LOL

Any big plans for the weekend?

Just working out.  Next weekend is my 5k run (10k the weekend after that), so better get prepared!  Did you know you were going to work so late today?  I wouldnt take down my old TV till the new one was ready, either.

Oh wow!  How cool. I can't imagine running that far.  I did track in jr high and he thoght I was "built" like a distance runner.  Hated it, wanted to just sprint.  LOL  Is this a fun run?  Or are you seriously training?  How is the shred going?

I knew I would be late, but not that late. My supervisor had me join a volunteer group within my group.  We help coordinate fun activities to make it a fun place to go.  Tomorrow is Hollywood day.  We laid down red carpets, are doing contests, have someone being "paparazzi".  Since it's volunteer I won't even get paid the 3 + hours overtime.  But she thinks it will give me "exposure" to move into a different position.  If it's going to cut this much into my family time, not sure I want the exposure.

Hi Barb!  What is up with you?  You made me smile when I saw your screen name.

Suz...my friend tends to be emotionally unstable in the best of times.  I think we need to let things settle out for a few weeks before I stick Lucious Lemon on her.

Emma:  did you see my response to your camping post (when we were posting last week?)  I think you are nuts for tent camping so soon!  It's to cold at night to be tent camping here at night!   And that is coming from someone who loves to camp.

EWWW, you didnt get paid for it?  It sounds like alot of fun though.  I love when offices do morale builders.  We actually had a pot luck today.  I made a delish cake!

The shread is going well, did day 3 a little bit ago.  Today at work I was dying.  I didnt want to bend my legs at all.  Standing and sitting is okay, the inbetween getting to sitting hurts!

Both runs are fun runs.  The 5k all the money from entry fees goes to the local adoption agency.  And is very family orinetated, so lots of kids and dogs.  No pressure on time.  And the 10k I've done before, but always walked.  Most people walk that one, but this year I want to run.  Its also a fun run, and all the procedes go to the boyscouts in town. 

Im hoping to run a majority of both the races.  Im doing them with a friend from my new work, and she is a runner, so that will be good motivation for me.

Our track coach really wanted me to join track in HS.  Because I have long legs, and did soccer.  But I didnt want to, now I wish I had.  Well, I dont think I could've, you had to have good grades, and I basically flunked that year.

Are you finishing paiting tomorrow?

 I know I started tonights post, but I think I am off to bed.  I have a feeling after tomorrow's birthday activities, there is going to be a lot of hospital time in my future for the weekend.  off to get some sleep!  thanks for the hugs!

Brooke- I completely agree on the insane to go camping so early.  It was so so so cold and misurable trying to sleep.  I woke up a thousand times freezing, ended up putting a hat and gloves on to sleep.  Did I tell you we turned our two sleeping bags into one big one?  Even with DHs body heat it was still too cold!  Never again.  I told DH I want a cabin from now on... Im sure we'll be in tents again

You enjoy camping?  Thats insane too.  I dont hate it, but its not my cup of tea.  You have to bring your whole house with you, and I feel like I eat the entire time.  And its hotdogs and marshmallows.  Hello stomach ache!
