We had a strong heartbeat and didn't know anything was wrong until our NT scan. But ours turned out to be Trisomy 18 so it is a little different I guess.
My first one there was a heartbeat at 6w1d (hear and seen). Was told the BS about <5% chance of m/c by my doc. Only to find out 4 weeks later, no more heartbeat :-( That sucked @ss big time.
BFP#1 missed m/c-d&c 10/27/08, BFP#2 BO-natural m/c 5/15/09,

BFP#4 11/22/11- please stay with me
I never got a chance to hear or see a heartbeat, but since baby A was developed to 7.5 weeks, I assume there was one, since it starts beating earlier than that (like 6 weeks, right? I can't remember).
I am so sorry for your loss. DH and I never made it to u/s with either pregnancy. are you going to take a little time off or do you plan on trying again soon? do the Drs have any answers for you?
Oct 2008 m/c #1 5 weeks, May 2009 m/c #2 4w5d. BFP 6/23/09 EDD 3/8/10!

2IF does not always equal 3IF...Surprise!
I had a perfect u/s at 8 weeks and heard the heartbeat. I had no idea anything was wrong until my water broke and I started to hemorrhage at 13 weeks. My m/c was due to Turner's syndrome - completely random chromosomal abnormality, it just took my body that long to realize something was wrong
Thanks guys. That really helps knowing I'm not the only one who has experienced seeing and hearing the heartbeat only to m/c a few hours later. I never did get an explanation but sometimes I guess there just isn't one. I think Dh and I will start trying in August. Here's to the hoping and praying.
Yep my baby was healthy, but I had an infection called chorioamnionitis which caused me to have to deliver her because my life was in danger... So its different than what you are asking I guess.

Yes, we heard the heartbeat several times. I had a m/c because my water broke, which was because I have an incompetent cervix. Even after my water broke, her heart was still beating

Our little one still had a HB the morning of the m/c.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I never had a chance to see the heartbeat but our baby grew to 8 weeks so there must have been one...

We still don't know what happened.
With my first loss there was a h/b at the 11wk u/s and again at 14 wks on the doppler.
M/c is so hard. Big hugs!
